Applodi Studio is an independent, Hong Kong-based studio creating educational content for children — a small team of designers, illustrators, and parents building things we'd want our own children to grow up with.
We make picture books, activity books, mobile applications, and educational games. Our first titles and applications are currently in preparation for release in 2026.
Our digital work includes discovery applications, interactive reading formats, and small puzzle games built around attention, memory, observation, routes, logic and gentle problem-solving.
Our work is curiosity-driven. We take scientific and natural themes — how things grow, how the world works, why the sky changes colour — and make them playful, tactile, and easy to love. Every illustration is hand-crafted, and every experience is designed with care.
Applodi Studio is currently building its first catalogue across print and digital formats, with a focus on quiet learning, family-friendly design, and content that can travel from page to screen without losing its sense of wonder.

The goal is not to keep children on screens longer. It is to make the screen purposeful when it is used, and to connect digital play back to drawing, reading, paper activities and real curiosity.

Our early work begins with paper: drawing, coloring-page prototypes, cut-and-paste compositions, puzzle paths, seek-and-find boards and quiet visual thinking before anything is released publicly.

Our focus is paper-first: coloring, drawing, cutting, collage and small problem-solving activities children can do away from constant screens. Digital products are planned as a calm extension of that work, not a replacement for it.
